Principal's Report
Dear families,
Welcome to Week 5. With latest covid 19 restrictions coming into place in all NSW schools, there are changes to many more protocols. The biggest change is to any student or staff member that is exhibiting mild flu-like symptoms.
We need to continue to exclude any student or staff member that is displaying any flu-like symptoms, even if this is mild. Students and staff with even mild flu-like symptoms are now required to be tested and can only return to school upon a receipt of a negative test result that must be provided to the school. All negative test results must be sent to the school office.
Please adhere to this advice. If your child has any symptoms DO NOT send them to school. These guidelines are a directive from NSW Health. I understand that getting a covid test and going through the process can take some time – so acting promptly to get a covid test (if your child has any symptoms) is advised to minimise the time that a student potentially has away from school. A copy of the negative test results can be sent through to the school mobile – 0484 938 470. I ask for your understanding if the school rings to collect your child for having any symptoms. These measures are in place to keep everyone safe.
Have a great week.
Kind Regards,
Kirsty Beavan
