The Sacrament of Confirmation
Archbishop Christopher has given permission for Parish Priests to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation this year. We will now hold Confirmation in St James Church on Sunday 18th October 2020 for Adelong parishioners. Students in Years 5 and 6 who have made the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion are invited to participate.
Of course this will be subject to Covid recommendations and may need to be suspended following Health advice.
I will be in touch with families soon to let you know how we will proceed with lessons. I am developing some lessons, but will be asking families to commit to working at home with your child to help prepare them. Please understand that coming to Mass is part of the preparation for any Sacrament.
The Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion will be held off until next year in our parish. If there are any families that require these Sacraments this year please contact myself (0405513318) or Fr George .
