Welcome to Week 7.  Our students from Yrs 2 - 6 had a fantastic day yesterday at T3.  We are so thankful for this wonderful opportunity which is a result of our budding scientists – Riley, Ted and Harry – and their fantastic win in the Snowy Hydro Science competition.  All students thoroughly enjoyed their day and as always had wonderful behaviour and manners whilst representing the school out in the wider community.

The weather is heating up and just a reminder that every child needs to bring a drink bottle to school in order to stay hydrated!  Children also need to bring their school hats as we again need to stay sun smart -  NO HAT NO PLAY.

Our end of year Mass and Awards Presentation is set down for Wednesday 9 December at 10 am in the Adelong Park.  More details will follow with the covid procedures that will need to be adhered to in order for this event to go ahead. 

Kaitlyn Dean from McAuley has been with us this week on work experience.  We hope that Kaitlyn has enjoyed her time with us, and we know that the students have enjoyed having her in their classes this week.

Due to COVID-19 this year you will be aware that the only carnivals that took place were the St Joseph’s swimming carnival, Western Region and Archdiocesan swimming carnivals.  Children who represented at these carnivals will be acknowledged at the awards ceremony.  Students have not had the opportunity to represent their school in a range of sports as they normally would and due to this we will not be presenting a Sportsperson of the year for 2020.
