Principal's Report
Another busy week at St Joseph’s. A big thank you for all the support our wonderful parents have given to our school and students every day so far this week!
Monday – for taking students to West Wyalong for the Western Region swimming carnival. Thank you for making the big drive and assisting with time keeping and making sure children swam in all their races!
Tuesday – attending the Community Council meet and greet and finding out about the roles of our community council and how you can become involved in our small school.
Wednesday - attending Ash Wednesday mass. Baking, making coleslaw and assisting with serving and the bbq at the Yavenvale Bull sale
Thursday – attending our Opening school mass, morning tea and Information sessions
It certainly has been a big week!
On Sunday St Joseph’s is rostered to host the mass – if any students would like to participate please let the office know.
This week we welcome Ms Cat Dawson to the St Joseph’s staff. She will be in the 2/3 classroom every Friday and we are sure that she will love working with 23 at St Joseph’s.
Please keep in your prayers Mrs Cath Parker who has experienced extreme grief and loss over the last few months. Cath lost her son Aaron to a terminal illness just before Christmas and in recent weeks her brother in law who died suddenly from a medical condition. We continue to pray for Cath and her family.
We welcome Mason Miller and his family to St Joseph’s. Mason started in Yr 5 today, and we know that his classmates will make sure he feels very welcome in 4/5/6.
Have a great week.
