Principal's Report
Welcome to Week 9. We are on the downhill run to the end of term. We wish all our students who are competing at the Western Region Athletics carnival in Cootamundra all the best for tomorrow. The weather is looking good, so we hope you all enjoy your day.
We continue to keep our First Communion candidates in our prayers as they prepare for their big day on Sunday. We look forward to sharing this special day with Jack, Arthur, Ainslie, Taylani, Tom, Charlotte and Lucy.
We will celebrate NAIDOC week which falls in the first week of the holidays on the last day of term – Friday 5 July.
Term 2 has been a very busy but productive term for the children of St Joseph’s. Professor Kaye Lowe was most impressed last week when she visited our school with the standard of our children’s writing. All students have been working extremely well this term and I would like to congratulate them on the effort they put into all classroom activities as well as their positive growth mindset. It is really making a difference with the standard of the children’s work.
Have a great holiday and hopefully the children will take some time out to rest and relax after a busy term.
Kind Regards
Kirsty Beavan
