The stars of this week’s newsletter has to be our four swimmers in our small schools relay – Tom, Charlie, Arthur and Toby.  As you would be well aware by now the boys placed second at the McKillop trials on Monday at Olympic Park.  This is a fantastic achievement and we are so very proud of their efforts.  They will now head off to the NSW PSSA Swimming Championships in Sydney next Thursday.  We wish the boys the best of luck and thank their wonderful families for taking them to swim at these fantastic events.

With less than a week of school to go, can I just remind all families to ensure that they have completed any absence notes and make sure they are up to date.  Remember it is a legal requirement to notify the school of any absences.  There seems to be a lot of children missing a substantial amount of school at the moment when you add it up over a term.  Parents have a legal obligation to send their children to school, just as I have a legal obligation to ensure that children are coming to school on a regular basis and reporting significant absences.

The children are busy participating in lots of extra curricula activities at the moment – Rugby Gala day today for Yrs 3-6, Adelong falls excursion for Yr 4/5/6 on Friday and the Western Region Cross Country in Boorowa on Tuesday.
