Year 2/3 Classroom News
Year 2/3 have been working hard on 2D shapes in maths. We have found and named shapes around us, Maddison found that a cross is a dodecagon and they have looked up some really strange 2D shape names on Google. Some have challenged themselves to some tricky arrays!
Our literacy has been dropping those bossy “e’s” when adding “ing”, making predictions when we read and learning about how adjectives make our stories powerful.
We have looked at healthy food options when we might have to visit a place that sells “fast food”, and how we are connected to others in the world. Einstein and Golden Globe Awards have been awarded each day!
