Principals Report
Term One seems to be flying by with so many things happening! Staff have again been very busy with Professional Learning over the last two weeks with a visit from Adjunct Professor Kaye Lowe focusing on Literacy practices, St Joseph’s hosted a Literacy Day and Mrs Murray also attended a Numeracy Cluster Day in Cootamundra. Staff travelled to Albury to participate in a Sue Larkey workshop last Friday and tomorrow Miss Braun and Mrs Dean will travel to Canberra for a data analysis day.
We wish Tom and Fred all the best for competing at the Archdiocese swimming carnival in Narooma on Monday. Fred will compete in the 50m Freestyle and Tom will compete in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Breastroke and the 200m IM. We can’t wait to hear how you go!
Next week St Joseph’s will commence their Lenten activities beginning with cooking pancakes for Shrove Tuesday and celebrating Ash Wednesday mass at 10 am.
We will have our next General Community Council meeting on Wednesday 6th March commencing at 7pm – all are most welcome to attend.
Have a great week.
Kind Regards
Kirsty Beavan
