Welcome to Week 2.  It has been another quiet week at St Joseph’s filled with lots of learning.

Lots of sporting events happening tomorrow.  We wish Toby and Tom lots of luck as they head off as members of the Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese Rugby League teams, trialing for selection in the McKillop team.  Some 5/6 students are heading off to Connolly Park tomorrow to be part of the Wagga Primary Schools Rugby 10s.

Attendance

As you are aware St Joseph’s has moved over to the Compass platform for rolls and attendance this term.  For parents at this stage it won’t mean a big change, but if I could please ask that the following procedures are followed:

• If your child arrives at school later than 8.55am an adult must walk them into the office and sign them in (same for early departures).
• If your child is going to be absent for whatever reason please notify the school as you normally would of the absence – date, reason for absence. If you are sending an email to your child’s teacher please cc the office in as the administration side of absences will be largely handled by the office staff.
