A big congratulations to Alice, Cody and Toby who ran at the Archdiocesan Cross Country in Canberra on Tuesday.  I know that they all gave it their best and represented St Joseph’s and the Western Region with great pride.

Tuesday’s staff meeting was facilitated by Renae Pettit from BeYou.  The meeting was to learn a little more about BeYou, but also to focus on wellbeing – and it is extremely important that we take the time to look after ourselves and ensure that we are running on all cylinders!  It has been an extremely busy term and staff continue to meet all that is required of them at school with face to face teaching, assessments, professional reading and learning as well as having a family and trying to juggle work life balance like all of us do!  Next week as a staff we will have Wellbeing week, and put some things in place where we take the time to look after ourselves, such as no one staying at work after 4.30 pm, checking in with a set buddy and ensuring that they are tracking OK and sharing a nice morning tea.  Regardless of your career, role, vocation it is great practice to stop and take a moment to breathe and look after ourselves.

A huge thank you again for all the wonderful families that came in on Saturday to the working bee.  Our grounds are looking fantastic again, and we really appreciate the time that was taken to come in and help out.  Mick Campbell coordinated the event, so we thank him for taking on the event.
