Welcome to Week 4 – it has been nice and wet and chilly this week.  

We will celebrate Book Week in Week 7 of this term.  The theme this year is “Old worlds, New worlds, Other worlds”.  The Scholastic Book fair will run from 23rd – 26^th August and will be set up in the Parish House.  More information will follow about times that the book fair will be open.  The children can start having a think about costumes and which world you might come from!!!!  Remember you can come as any character/animal from your favourite book/novel or you can use this year’s theme for some inspiration.

At the beginning of each term our Principals Award focuses on St Joseph’s five ways of being.  I am always impressed that the students are very aware of what these all mean and know how they can follow the ways of being, to make St Joseph’s a great school community.
