It is lots of fun in K/1 with animals and Gingerbread Man! In Literacy lessons the students have been learning about the features of Imaginative Texts. After reading different versions of the Gingerbread Man, the children wrote their own story, completed sequencing tasks and finished the unit by decorating their own biscuits. They all enjoyed eating their fabulous creations.

Initialit 1 are learning about the bossy ‘e’. The children got to choose a pet animal and name it (had to have a bossy ‘e’). In maths, children are learning to find halves. Miss Braun likes her sandwich cut in half each day so students practised working out all the ways to cut the sandwich.  Children also investigated half with the cuisenaire rods.
