Principal's Report
Another busy week of remote learning at St Joseph’s. The students are doing a fantastic job with their learning with the continued support of our families.
Tomorrow morning we will attempt our first online live assembly together at 9.15 am, which will replace their daily check in with their teacher. The students will get a link today – on their teams calendar and on see-saw, but if families would just like to join on one device that would be great. The Year 6 students and I had a test run this morning and all went relatively well so we will see how we go!!! There will be a lot of us online for the assembly so just remember to mute your microphones which should make for a great assembly!
The Year 6 students will be talking about some fun online events that we are planning to do over the next couple of weeks which will be fantastic.
Father’s Day as you know is coming up this weekend. We were hoping to put a collage up on facebook of the children with their wonderful dads – please email me some pictures if you get a chance – Harry will talk more tomorrow about some ideas he has at tomorrow’s assembly.
Thank you for your continued communication about whether students will be onsite, if things aren’t working technology wise, or if you need any assistance or support. It is an extra level of challenge when we are remote to make sure we are catering for everyones needs, so please let us know how we can further assist our families.
Go gently and enjoy this beautiful Spring weather,
Kirsty Beavan
