This week in Maths we have been working on finding the area of different shapes using informal and formal units. We have been using our multiplication knowledge to assist us in calculating the area of a shape quickly.

In writing, 2/3 have been learning how to write an effective procedural text. We wrote a simple procedure on how to build a sandcastle, tested it out, then when it didn't work, we rewrote the procedure to make sure we had all the steps and materials included. 

In Art, 2/3 have been experimenting with blending water colours to create a sunset painting. We also have created a collage that needed to be put together like a jigsaw to reveal the picture.
