Welcome to Week 6.  We had a lovely Remembrance Day ceremony on site today that was led beautifully by our Year Six leaders.  A big thank you to Mrs Dean who organised this morning’s ceremony and to all students for their reverence this morning. 

After eight weeks of having no land line at St Joseph’s we are very excited that our new ‘cloud’ phone system was installed this week.  The phone system operates from the internet so this should minimize any further disruptions.

Our Year five students are preparing to be leaders for 2022 and are thinking about how they can use their leadership qualities to fulfill their roles next year.  Over the next couple of weeks we look forward to hearing more about these qualities and what leadership role they would like to hold next year.  

Staff prayer has a weekly focus at St Joseph’s and one that staff participated in recently was a daily examen.  This is a prayerful reflection on the events of the day so that we can detect God’s presence and enable us to see God’s hand at work in our own daily experiences.  This is a great way to focus on the good and positive experiences that happen every day.  Sometimes our lives are so busy and we don’t get to stop at the end of the day and think about what we are grateful for.  It is a really positive way to begin our day, or to finish a day with gratitude.
