Religious Education News
This week I have been reflecting on our theme for this year ‘Gratitude’. Having gratitude means that you are thankful to God and others for the good things in your life and look for the good side in every situation.
One thing I am feeling very grateful for is our wonderful Community Council. The Community Council have been working very hard to support our school in so many ways such as donating money towards various school needs, assisting and helping with the fundraising events for Andrew Reynolds. Thank you, we appreciate all the hard work you are doing for our school.
What are you grateful for?
Religion in K/1
This term K/1 are learning about the Church as a community that celebrates God’s love. Students went on a tour of the church to experience the environment using various senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch) and learnt about the different features in the church. Students enjoyed learning about the different sounds we hear during Church and the special meaning.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Please continue to keep Ollie, Henry and James in your prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation next Wednesday 25th at 9:30am. All are welcome to attend.
Have a lovely week,
