Carols by Candlelight

Next Saturday 10th December the Adelong Preschool will be hosting our Carols by Candlelight night. St Joseph’s students have been invited to attend and sing on the night. Students attending are to meet staff at 7pm at the front/side of the stage, where they will sing some carols they have been practising throughout the term at 7.10pm. While I understand that this is an extremely busy time for everyone, we would love for a decent turnout for our school. School Captains Speeches

While I have acknowledged these five students in several forums, I wanted to reiterate how impressed I have been with the commitment and effort our 2023 school leaders with their school captains' posters and speeches. They spoke so confidently and were very supportive of one another all the way through the process. Congratulations Nicko, Culley, Sam, Fred and Lochie. The school is in great hands!

End of Year Mass

On Tuesday 13th December,  we will be celebrating our End of Year Mass and Presentation Day at the Adelong Showground. Mass will start at 9.30am and be followed by a short interlude and then our presentations. Following these presentations, students will stay at the Showgrounds for recess and the Community Council would also like to host all families for tea/coffee and a bite to eat as a way of thanking our community for the enormous contributions that they have made to some of our fundraising events this year.

IT Information for Parents

I understand the technology information posted each week may not be of interest to all families but over the next two newsletters, I will post some advice and assistance for parents in regard to ‘setting up your home for online safety’ and ‘responding to online challenges’. Swimming (Week 9)

Due to the fact that we won’t be swimming this Friday 2nd December, we will be swimming on Monday, Tuesday and Friday next week.

Looking forward to seeing parents and carers at Parent Teacher Interviews next week.
