Advent

Each class has set up an Advent wreath on their prayer table and the students are learning about the signs and symbols associated with Advent. The candle on the Advent wreath this week represents hope.

Christmas Appeal

Families are invited to support the Christmas Appeal by donating non perishable items such as tea, coffee, milo, long life milk, long life juice, jelly, pancake mix, etc. Baskets are set up in the foyer for donated items. Hampers are then delivered to those in need in our community.

The children are welcome to bring in goods and place them in the hamper located in the school foyer. This is a wonderful way for the children to experience the gift of giving to those families who may find themselves experiencing difficulty at this time of year.
