St Joseph’s Feast Day

St Joseph’s has had an action packed week starting on Monday with our St Joseph’s liturgy to celebrate the patron Saint of our school.  Thank you to Miss Braun for organising the liturgy, it was wonderful to see the children thinking of ways they can use their hands to help others and be the hands of God in their life.  Thank you to the parents who came along and stayed to have a picnic lunch with the students.

Cross Country

On Tuesday St Joseph’s held the Cross Country out at the Adelong Golf Course.  A huge thank you to Miss Sousby who organised the event with lots of assistance from Mrs Turnbull and Mrs Howell.  It was a great day and all of the children are to be congratulated on their efforts.  The Western Region Cross Country will be held next term in Grenfell, with more information coming for the students who made it away.

It was fantastic to have so many parents on the day and a huge thank you for standing on check points and assisting with getting shade sails up and down – your help and support is always greatly appreciated.

NAPLAN

Students in Years 3 and 5 have now completed Naplan for 2023.  The students should be congratulated for the way in which they conducted themselves and completed the tests with minimal fuss.  From a technology point of view things went smoothly with minimal disruptions.
