Yr 6 Retreat
On Tuesday 7th of May, the Year 6 students went to Tumut McAuley for a Year 6 retreat. One of the activities was a backpack with a water bottle, a first aid kit and a torch. The water bottle represented God's love and the torch represented forgiveness and the first aid kit represented survival. We thank Miss Braun for taking us, we had loads of fun.

On Tuesday 7th of May we had the Year 6 retreat at McAuley. While we were there we played a few games and we watched some plays. There was a play where one of the Year 10 leaders would act out waking up while one person watched. While this happened, three people were outside. They would then have to come back in and try and act out what the person told them had happened. It was really funny. We also went into little groups with two of the leaders and talked about different things.

On Tuesday the 7th of May, Year 6 went to a Religion Retreat Day with the other Year 6 students from St Pat’s Gundagai, St Mary’s Batlow and McAuley Tumut. With those three schools we played a couple of games and activities. We also joined into 5 small groups and talked about a backpack which had three items in it: the water bottle, a first aid kit and a torch. The water bottle was a symbol for God’s love, the first aid kit represented survival and the torch showed forgiveness even though you can feel dark sometimes you can shine your light through it. The Retreat was a really great day.
