The Assumption of Mary

On Thursday 15th August, we celebrate the Assumption of Mary.  The Assumption of Mary is a significant celebration in the Catholic Church that honours the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken up to Heaven, body and soul, at the end of her earthly life.  This is called the “Assumption” because Mary was “assumed” or taken into Heaven by God.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Please keep Cody, Josey and Angus in your prayers as they prepare to make the sacrament of Reconciliation. The sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated on Tuesday 10th September at 11.30pm. Today in their first preparation lesson, students explored the concept of sin and its impact on our relationship with God and others. 

St Joseph's will present Mass on Sunday 1^st September at 8.30am.  We would love as many families as possible to come and share this Parish Mass. If you are able to attend, and would like your child/ren to participate, please complete the Google Form so I can distribute the readings.
