Reconciliation
Congratulations to Culley, Fred, Lochie and Nicholas who received the sacrament of First Reconciliation last night. Thank you to Father Namora for celebrating the Liturgy and to the families, staff and parish members who supported the children on their faith journey.
During Reconciliation lessons the children learn about ‘Good Choices’ and ‘Poor Choices’. The reconciliation children talked at assembly this morning about the ‘ripple effect’, both the positive and negative impact that their choices have on others. At St Joseph’s we continue to instil in the students a sense of fairness, kindness towards others and how to show respect towards one another through our words and actions. The Reconciliation children showed us the beautiful rocks that they had decorated for their Liturgy, to remind them of the ‘Ripple Effect’ of their actions.
