WORLD MISSION MONTH

On Friday we will celebrate Mission Month with   ‘A Day of Many Colours’ and the Mission Rosary.

The Mission Rosary is a special form of prayer to encourage us to pray children around the world – especially the poor and vunerable. Each child will receive a set of Mission Rosary beads which are made up of five different colours, each representing a different continent: Green for Africa, red for the Americas, white for Europe, blue for Oceania and yellow for Asia. As the children pray each decade, they remember children in that continent and understand that they belong to a Universal Church that shares God’s love with our global family.

All students are invited to wear colourful clothing to school and bring a gold coin donation for the Nazareth Home for God Children in Ghana.
