A nice chilly week this week, but we welcomed the beautiful rain.  

There are lots of children who have been unwell this week so time at home to rest and recover is ideal.  Please remember that it is important to keep your child/ren at home if they have flu like symptoms – to stop the spread of infection amongst students.  It is the time of the year when children do get sniffles, however keeping your child at home and not spreading sickness is most appreciated.

Reports will go home this Friday for Semester One.  Thank you to those parents who have already seen their child’s teacher or who have booked an interview time for next week.  It would be great for every family to discuss their child’s progress, especially in light of the reduced report format for this semester.

The covid restrictions for schools will still remain in place.  Complacency may be the reason why we are seeing a second wave in some states in Australia, and in light of this schools will ere on the side of caution.  Any changes to protocol or current procedures will be communicated.  St Joseph’s does appreciate your support in all of these procedures and protocols and it is so important to continue to keep everyone in our community safe.
