St Joseph’s Day
We look forward to celebrating the Feast Day of our school patron St Joseph with a Liturgy on Monday 20 March at 12:30pm.
After the Liturgy, we invite parents to stay for a picnic lunch on the oval (please bring your own lunch).
St Joseph’s Feast Day is on Sunday 19 March. St Joseph was a working man, a carpenter, but he used his hands to also do God’s work in his life.
Easter Raffle
Our Year 6 leaders will hold an Easter Egg raffle to raise funds for Project Compassion – Caritas. Caritas Australia is the international aid and development organisation of the Catholic Church in Australia.
More information about selling tickets will be in next week's newsletter.
Any donations from families would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to our St Joseph's families who have kindly offered their time to help with the food stall at the Adelong Show. Just a reminder to everyone to check their time on the roster.
The committee have asked that only adults serve and handle food and money.
We are looking forward to a great day!
ADELONG SHOW FOOD STALL ROSTER
St Joseph's will be holding the anuual Cross Country on Tuesday 21st March at the Adelong Golf Course.
Students will come to school and be transported to the Golf Course via Goode's Coaches.
The cost for the bus is $4.00 per student. Please send the money with your child's name to the office.
Next week if the students could wear their joggers each day as we will begin practise at the start of the day.
Book Club catalogues will be sent home this week.
Orders need to be placed by Week 8 - 20th March so that they arrive before school holidays.
Please place your order and pay via the LOOP app (no cash or cheques)
Term 1 - Week 8 - Thursday 23rd March.
Students need to wear full summer school uniform.
Order form envelopes will be sent out with students on Monday 13th March, please see below the prices and packages available. Please ensure each student's envelope is returned to school by Monday 20th March 2023
Martin and our TRP Team are so looking forward to your Parent & Community presentation (with other schools) on Wednesday 15th March from 6:30pm - 8:00pm (90 minutes) AEDT.What you can expect.Martin will be delivering his flagship ‘Discovering Resilience’ presentation to your community. Through his high-energy humour and captivating storytelling, Martin will share simple, practical tips we can use everyday to improve our wellbeing.Why a Parent & Carer presentation?When building positive mental health in schools, we know the best impact happens when we work together.The ‘Discovering Resilience’ presentation helps do just that by sharing those same evidence-based strategies being taught in the classroom, so they can be also practised at home and beyond. This week Jack had a special ride to school in his families Army vehicle, he was very excited and enjoyed showing his friends as they arrived at school.
Sporting trial registrations coming up are Boys and Girls Hockey (rego closes 10th March) and Boys and Girls Soccer (rego closes 27th March).

Opening hours: Weekdays: 2:30pm - 6:30pm,
